West Bend 82707 Stir Crazy Electric Hot Oil Popcorn Popper Machine

One of my favorite poppers and the next generation to the older model of West Bend Stir Crazy poppers.  The company praises the motorized stir rod which has an automatic reversal that kicks in when a kernel gets stuck under it and we agree, it’s a great feature.  However like its older models, the stirring rod eventually comes loose and requires the user to unscrew and re-screw parts of the popper.  The good news is that if you happen to lose the rod in the process as we did once, the popcorn popper is still functional.  Most poppers have this stir rod system but WestBend remains favorite even though the rod eventually becomes an inconvenience.
